Statement

I graduated from the University of Salford in 2010 and have exhibited within the Manchester area. My artwork is both mimetic and symbolic in equal parts, suggesting alternate, hypothetical, and to some extent, fictitious spaces which invite the viewer to examine and question their sense of reality.

My current process involves building small, quasi-architectural models and applying a similar texture mapping process commonly found in today's construction of virtual environments. The models are then to be recaptured on a live camera feed and broadcast over a video messaging application such as Skype to a gallery space or to peoples personal computers, resulting in a virtual exhibition as well as a real, physical one.
